Starting this week, Wii™ owners can discover – or rediscover – the game’s timeless platforming fun via the Virtual Console™ service. For a different brand of retro-styled action with a contemporary twist, players can also try out a demo version of BIT.TRIP CORE, now available for download on the WiiWare™ service for zero Wii Points™. Meanwhile, new hand-held game offerings for the Nintendo DSiWare™ service include GO Series Captain Sub, a treasure-seeking underwater adventure that can be enjoyed anytime, anywhere on the portable Nintendo DSi™ system.

– Ceres will begin to look like a beast as you play
– Action component may remind some of Zelda
– Fields have a puzzle element
– Chain a bit similar to the hookshot in Zelda
– Grab enemies with the chain and swing them around
– Move switches with the chain as well
– Ceres must eat the beast meat to cure her curse in spite of the fact that the characters come from a race of non meat eaters
– Ceres may transform too far into beast form if she doesn’t get the needed flesh in time (unclear if this is part of the story or if a time limit is involved)
– Multiple endings
– Make selections as you play
– These selections affect the ending
