Here’s something interesting: Nintendo released Kersploosh! (known as Splash or Crash in Europe) on the Japanese 3DS eShop when the store initially launched. The game only has ten levels.

Fans of the Toki Tori series may remember that the series started out on the Game Boy Color. The game is also available on the 3DS eShop right now.

Toki Tori’s portable roots begs the question: could we ever see Toki Tori 2 on the 3DS? The short answer is no.

On Twitter, Two Tribes explained that Nintendo’s portable isn’t capable of running the title fast enough.
In order to make it happen, the studio would need to “use the same systems but build a different game around it that suits the hardware better.”

Two Tribes wrote:

Gunman Clive has been an absolute success on the 3DS eShop. The game has now managed to outsell the Android release, according to creator Bertil Hörberg.
Last month, Hörberg confirmed that Gunman Clive 3DS outsold the iOS version as well.

Hörberg tweeted earlier today:

PEGI rates Picdun 2

Intense launched Picdun 2 on the Japanese 3DS eShop last year, which was a sequel to the original DSiWare title. The game now appears to be heading to Europe.

A new entry for Picdun 2 has been discovered on PEGI’s site. The European ratings board lists the title as “Picdun 2: Witch’s Curse”.
