Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate UK sales: 45% on Wii U, 55% on 3DS

An interesting stat from Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate’s debut sales in the UK: 45% of sales were generated from the Wii U version while 55% were collected from the 3DS release. Combined, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate reached the 7th spot on the latest UK charts. Not bad at all, given that some view the series as niche and more Japanese-centric.

ABC has published a series of interviews with Shigeru Miyamoto, but this may be one of the most interesting discussions we’ve seen over the past few weeks. Miyamoto talked about Ghostbusters (he’s a fan, but it didn’t lead to Luigi’s Mansion), how Nintendo decides between putting a game on the 3DS (3D) or Wii U (HD), his secret Facebook page, and the possibility of a theme-park (it could happen one day, maybe).

Etrian Odyssey announcement, Devil Survivor 2 in this week’s Famitsu

This week’s Famitsu will be jam-packed with all sorts of 3DS content.
First up, the magazine will have a first look at Devil Survivor 2. Exchanges on Twitter also hint at a new Etrian Odyssey announcement, which would likely be the next entry in the series for 3DS.
