Monster Hunter 4’s second brand new weapon has been revealed, likely in the pages of this week’s Famitsu.
Players can look forward to wielding a Charge Axe in the game. Once it’s split in two, hunters can perform continuous swift attacks and block with a shield. The weapon can also be charged – the hilt glows yellow when at its peak.
Charge Axe’s other capability is a standard axe mode. This offers a long reach, higher power, and can release elemental attacks.

E.X. Troopers localization still not in the cards
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
To the surprise of no one, Capcom still isn’t planning on localizing E.X. Troopers for North America or Europe. Based on comments from Christian Svensson, it would appear that the company was never planning on bringing it over in the first place.
It would take a lot of work to localize E.X. Troopers if Capcom were to ever think about heading in this direction. Svensson wrote on the Capcom-Unity boards that a great deal of art would need to be redone and the project would require much more than a standard localization effort.
Svensson said:
“It was not planned for Western release… you can tell this because all of the text is ‘hard coded’ as actual art. The text isn’t just standard ‘text’ that could be swapped relatively easily. To localize a release, one would have to redo a ton of art in the game, not just do the localization and loc QA.”

Square Enix opens Theatrhythm Final Fantasy teaser site
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, General Nintendo, News | 0 comments

Square Enix opened a new Theatrhythm Final Fantasy teaser site earlier today. It doesn’t contain much, other than music cues moving across the screen and the words “Coming Soon.”
There’s speculation that this could be related to an iOS/Android port or something of that nature. That wouldn’t be a huge surprise given that Square Enix has already brought over titles such as The World Ends with You.
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see…
