[Let’s Talk] Are you sold on Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

Less than two months before the game’s launch, Nintendo finally provided its longest look yet at The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom this week. Eiji Aonuma, the series’ producer, showed off the title with about ten minutes of footage. We were treated to footage of Link’s new abilities, the sky islands, and more.
There are probably many fans out there who were on board with Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom when it was first announced in 2019. However, there are also a good chunk of fans that have probably maintained some skepticism. Perhaps after this week’s gameplay video, some folks will feel more strongly one way or another.
What side of the fence are you sitting on? Are you primed and ready for the May 12 launch? Or do you need to see more before you’re on board? Let us know in the comments.

Pokemon Day happened this week, and alongside that a new Pokemon Presents presentation was delivered. It contained a few announcements and a bunch of news about the franchise as a whole.
Probably the biggest reveal – which has been expected – is that Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are getting new DLC. We don’t actually know too much currently, but it’ll be split into two parts. New Pokemon and a ton of returning creatures are coming. The first part has players going on a fieldtrip to Kitakami while the second features an adventure at Blueberry Academy as an exchange student.
The February 2023 Pokemon Presents did have other news as well, such as the return of Pokemon Sleep, Pokemon Concierge show from Netflix, and more. You can read the full recap here.
So what’d you think of the February 2023 Pokemon Presents? What are your initial thoughts on the Pokemon Scarlet / Violet DLC? Let us know in the comments.

[Let’s Talk] Is GoldenEye 007 as good as you remember it?
Posted on 1 year ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Let's Talk, Switch | 0 comments
Something finally happened this week that many had for a long time thought would be impossible: a release of GoldenEye 007. If you’re a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscriber, you can play it right now. For some, this will be their first time reexperiencing the game since its release over two decades ago. GoldenEye 007 on Switch is largely the same as it was back in the day, but you can now at least play it online thanks to the built in functionality of the N64 app.
If you’re one of those people that played GoldenEye 007 when it first came out and have now started it up on Switch, how do you feel it holds up? Is it as good as you remember? And for new players, what are your thoughts on the game that has often been labeled as a true classic? Let us know in the comments.
