First 3DS video recording details – YouTube support likely
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
Nikkei has revealed the first details on the upcoming video recording service for the 3DS.
The site reports that users can record up to ten minutes of footage. Also, it seems that you’ll be able to upload the video to YouTube. Keep in mind that this piece of information hasn’t been confirmed, though it’s sounding likely.
Of course, the main hook of the application is that the footage can be recorded in 3D.
Nikkei says that the software will be made available in late November – in spite of what we heard yesterday. More details on the 3D video recording app and further firmware news will be shared tomorrow morning at 7 AM EDT.
Use the PC level editor to import custom VVVVVV levels onto 3DS
Posted on 13 years ago by Austin(@NE_Austin) in 3DS, News | 0 comments

So, despite coming to NE every day, writing for NE when I have time, making videos for the site, and being an all around lover of games coming to Nintendo platforms, I have not heard of VVVVVV. Until today, that is, and for those that are in the same boat with me, trust me, this is one you’ll want to keep your eye on as Nicalis is publishing it for 3DS.
Anyway, the premise of the game is a platformer without a jump button- instead you push the spacebar to invert your characters personal gravity- and it’s coming to 3DS at some point. One of the best parts of it is that is has a custom level designer so you’ll never get bored, but unfortunately there wasn’t looking like one would be included with the 3DS version. That’s only half-true it seems, as the game will allow you to make worlds on the PC editor and import them onto your 3DS. No word on whether the levels will be saved to the 3DS, the SD card, or the game cartridge, but either way I’d say this is pretty neat!
