Following an initial, albeit vague announcement in late March, Nintendo is finally pulling back the curtain on the successor to the DS.

Nintendo confirms new Donkey Kong Country

Rumors about a new Donkey Kong for Wii are true. A new game in the series was just announced at E3. Based on IGN’s initial reporting, Retro Studios is developing the game. Nintendo asked the developers to take on the franchise. The title will be released this holiday.

Nintendo is bringing Mario to another sports area. At their press conference, the company revealed a new Mario sports collection title for Wii.
– Sports include volleyball
– Called Mario Sports Mix
– Releasing next year
Nintendo formally announces Zelda Wii (releasing next year)

Nintendo has just unveiled their brand new Zelda title for Wii at their E3 2010 press conference. This title will be the first true entry on the console as Twilight Princess was ported over from the GameCube. As previously noted by Shigeru Miyamoto and Eiji Aonuma, the title will heavily support Wii MotionPlus.
