Perhaps the strangest Wii game/peripheral yet
Posted on 15 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 9 Comments
Have you ever played a game by moving a puppet all around? Well, that’s exactly what you do in Wiiwaa. Zoink Games, a Swedish developer, has gone out of their way to create an entirely new add-on just for their new game. After shoving the Wiimote inside the puppet, players will be able to control the character onscreen to jump, move, shake, and execute other actions. This really is one of the strangest ways I’ve seen to control a Wii game thus far.
Inazuma Eleven heading to Europe next year
Posted on 15 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in DS, News | 3 Comments
There’s some fantastic news today for European fans of Inazuma Eleven. Arait Multimedia recently announced that they have acquired the rights to the franchise. And on the company’s website, it is noted that “the licensing program shall be extended to the European level during the 2nd quarter of 2010, led by the existing Nintendo DS games.”
Arait Multimedia will not be publishing any Inazuma Eleven titles, as they are not a video game publisher. However, Level-5’s Akihiro Hino has mentioned that a release date will be announced for the first Inazuma Eleven game “when the time is right.”
There’s one last piece of important news. Hino has also said that there are plans to bring all of the Atamania titles to Europe. This includes the Sloane & MacHale and puzzle collections series.

Capcom and Yoshinori Ono have a secret
Posted on 15 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 8 Comments
While Yoshinori Ono has been a developer for numerous Capcom games, he has mostly been known for his work on the Street Fighter series. And apparently, Ono has a pretty “awesome” secret. Check out these messages that were recently left on Capcom’s official Twitter…
“Ono-san is full of surprises today. Hotness incoming…Ono showed us something TOTALLY AWESOME that we’re not allowed to talk about for a few months. He’s a total tease…”
Sadly, as Capcom mentioned, we won’t understand what this secret is for a few months. If it is truly awesome, though, it should be worth the wait!

Rumor: This is the mystery Namco Bandai game
Posted on 15 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in DS, News | 4 Comments
As we have previously mentioned, Namco Bandai will be announcing a new game in about four days. Because of some detective work, however, we may already know what the title actually is. Someone has matched up the symbols present in the teaser countdown page with Keroro Quest Cards. This seems to indicate that the game is Tales of Keroro Quest, possibly for the DS. Obviously, this isn’t official yet, hence why we’re marking this down as a rumor for now. We’ll find out for sure if this is a Keroro game in a few days.
