Can you talk about the story of Rabbids Go Home and its origins? Do the two Rabbids in the game have names?
For obscure and evidently irrational reasons, the Rabbids have chosen a ridiculous objective. Luckily, they’ve got an infallible plan…equally absurd, of course. Is a ridiculous plan the best way to attain a ridiculous objective ? I doubt that the Rabbids doubt it or even know what doubt is!
The fact is, something has changed. After three invasions and a lot of intense partying, the Rabbids are ready to go home, and that shiny, round thingy in the night sky has captured their imagination like Moses before the Promised Land…OK, more like a kid in front of a toy store window! To the Moon or Bust!
Capcom: No plans for more Viewtiful Joe right now

“I’m a really big fan of that series [Viewtiful Joe]. I think that series is a result of the work [Hideki] Kamiya did on it. If we get to work with him in the future, we would love to make another one. Nothing planned now.” – Jun Takeuchi of Capcom
Mr. Takeuchi also said that Viewtiful Joe 3 should not be expected anytime soon and that it may never happen at all.
Tim Schafer not making much of the Brutal Legend Wii rumors
Posted on 15 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 0 comments
Rumors regarding a Wii version of Brutal Legend has been ongoing for a few months. The rumors actually appeared to be turning true after sources told Variety that it was the real deal. As it turned out, however, Destructoid claimed most recently that the game had been canceled. Double Fine Productions head Tim Schafer was asked about all of the Brutal Legend Wii speculation at Comic-Con, but has pretty much put an end to any possibility that there is an alternate version for Nintendo’s console.
“You should not believe everything you read. There’s just a PS3 version and Xbox 360 version. That’s all that exists.”

‘Splosion Man has a chance of hitting the Wii
Posted on 15 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 0 comments
“We’re not locked into any one platform. We would certainly consider releasing both The Maw and Splosion Man for other platforms if we found the right arrangement.” – Twisted Pixel’s CTO and co-founder Frank Wilson
Splosion Man could be a very good fit for Wii. Thus far, the game has received some positive reviews and it’s a pretty enjoyable game. I’d have no objections if the game were to come out for the Wii in some form, whether it would be through a retail or digital release.

The Conduit sales update in Europe
Posted on 15 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 7 Comments
Last weekend, it was reported that The Conduit was off to what most would consider a slow start in Europe. With the latest UK charts comes another sales update, although there still isn’t any wonderful news to report. The Conduit has slipped even further down the charts for the week ending July 18th. The title is no longer in the top 40 best-selling games overall and it dropped two spots to the tenth position for Wii-specific games. I don’t think that the sales will be improving from here on out, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
