– New enemies and bosses
– Will have co-op play
– Another player can join in with the push of a button
– Second player involved as much as player one in co-op

This news comes from the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference in San Francisco, which took place on Tuesday:

– CEO Brian Farrell has hinted at an upcoming unannounced Wii title – “very focused … niche” – expected to do well
– de Blob has sold over 700,000 units worldwide
– de Blob has been able to keep $50 price tag after 5 months of availability
– THQ strategy: Publish Nintendo-esque games, value titles like Big Beach Sports, licensed titles
– Big Beach Sports has sold over 1.3 million units
– THQ plans on migrating its “biggest brands” to the DSi – gameplay opportunities available thanks to new DSi features

– The name of the beast in the screens linked above is Fenri
– Fenri is from Final Fantasy VI
– Santiago (spear expert) and a wolf creature live on the back of Fenri
– their are mounted canons throughout the land. Man these canons to attack massive beasts (Gigants) like Fenri
– access guns through portals
– portals allow quick travel throughout the game
– portals may be blocked by green gates. Gates are opened by destroying all enemies in an area

Electronic Arts COO John Pleasants confirmed today that Dead: Space Extraction will support Wii MotionPlus. Though Nintendo has yet to officially date the peripheral, it will be supported in Extraction when the game releases this fall. Information about how MotionPlus will be utilized was not discussed.
