After another long standoff between Nintendo and Amazon, the two sides are finally working together once again.

For whatever reason, over the past year or so, it has been impossible to purchase anything sold directly by Nintendo – at least if you’re in the United States. That means the Nintendo Switch 2 console itself, recently-released and upcoming titles like Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza, and even new amiibo were unavailable on Amazon. Neither side commented on the situation, leaving fans to wonder why they could purchase or pre-order many of Nintendo’s products.

Hungry Meem trailer

A launch trailer is now available for Hungry Meem, which debuted on Nintendo Switch this week. It offers a final look at the just-released colony sim game.

HDR is new for Nintendo on Switch 2, but there’s an important setting tucked away in the system settings that you should know about.

If you’ve connected your console to a TV at all and it’s compatible with HDR, you’ve probably already gone through the setup process. But you’ll want to head on over to the settings and then visit the “Display” tab. After that, head all the way down and select the “Adjust HDR” option.


Kokoro Clover Sun Prehistoric Invaders

May 19: Hikoteru is planning Kokoro Clover Sun: Prehistoric Invaders for Nintendo Switch, the developer has announced. It will be appearing in 2025.

Prehistoric Invaders is the second entry in the Kokoro Clover series. This one is expected as a visual novel that also features boss battles.

Nintendo Switch 2 launch sales US best-selling games

We have more news about the launch of Nintendo Switch 2 in the United States with the system setting a new record for the gaming industry.

For the week ending June 7, 2025, the new console sold over 1.1 million units. That’s more than any other system has managed to do in the U.S. previously, and that’s without counting sales from the My Nintendo Store. PlayStation 4 previously held the record.

Cyberpunk 2077 frame rate resolution

Digital Foundry shared another technical analysis for a Nintendo Switch 2 game, this time going in-depth with Cyberpunk 2077 and covering the latest tidbits like frame rate and resolution. CD Projekt Red has delivered an impressive port in many ways, though it’s not without some drawbacks. The Phantom Liberty expansion in particular is where there are more struggles.

Pokemon Scarlet Violet Incineroar distribution Wolfe

The 2025 Pokemon North America International Championships are taking place this weekend, and in celebration of the event, you can get involved with a limited time Incineroar distribution.

The Incineroar here is actually based on the one used by Wolfe Glick earlier in the year at the 2025 Pokemon Europe International Championships. This was one of the winning Pokemon on his team.

Today, Koei Tecmo and Gust unveiled the release date for Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian. Nintendo Switch owners can play the RPG starting on September 26, 2025.

Atelier Resleriana was originally announced last September. Last we heard, it was on track to launch sometime this year – now we know when.

Following the recent Nintendo Switch 2 launch, Sony has responded to investor concerns that the system could have a negative impact on its PlayStation business.

The gaming industry is more collaborative than it used to be, but there’s still ultimately competition. Consumers only have a certain amount of money and time to spend on different platforms. And now here comes Nintendo Switch 2 – which seems to be off to a hot start and has significantly better technical specs than its predecessor. 

Sony Interactive Entertainment president and CEO Hideaki Nishino first addressed investor concerns about increased competition for PlayStation and third-party relationships given Nintendo Switch 2’s improved specs. Regarding that, he said:
