Dear Villagers and Studio Plane put out a launch trailer for Caravan SandWitch. The game, a semi-open world exploration adventure experience, has now arrived on Switch.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Depths ideas

The developers behind The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom have shared interesting details about the early days of making the Depths. This comes from the new art book that just came out in Japan.

The Depths are one major area of the game alongside the sky and Hyrule itself. However, things didn’t come together immediately. Art director Satoru Takizawa seemed to initially have an idea in his head about “a Cretaceous Period-like world with dinosaurs or the mythical underworld.” The team did actually make an experiment based on this. Director Hidemaro Fujibayashi also indicated that the team played around with the brightness, noting that “there was a considerable amount of trial and error” before the final level of darkness was decided.

Garden Witch Life trailer

Garden Witch Life just came to Switch a couple of days ago, and we have a launch trailer for the title. The life farm RPG comes from SOEDESCO and FreetimeStudio.

The Art of Bravely Default II: 201X-2021

The Art of Bravely Default II: 201X-2021 previously came to Japan, and it’s now been revealed that an English localization is in the works for western fans. A release date of April 22, 2025 is also confirmed.

Dark Horse, a familiar name for many, is in charge of the localization. The hardcover art book features art and commentary from the Bravely Default developers.

Dreamland Farm

RedDeerGames will publish Dreamland Farm on Switch this month, the company has announced. A release is planned for September 27, 2024.

As the name implies, Dreamland Farm is primarily a farming sim. There are also residents of the nearby town to meet, tools to upgrade, and more.

Suika Game physical

The hit Switch game Suika Game is getting a physical release in Japan, it’s been announced. It will be sold as part of a new “Special Edition”.

Suika Game will be offered on a cartridge for the first time. All previous DLC will be included, and there’ll be some exclusive items as well.

The Quiet Things

Silver Script Games intends to release The Quiet Things on Switch, the studio has confirmed. No release window was provided.

The Quiet Things, a first-person narrative game, is based on real diary entries kept as a teenager. The title “seeks to explore mental health issues with a raw but brave look at childhood abuse and trauma.”
