Spy x Anya Operation Memories gameplay

For those interested in getting a look at the recently-released Spy x Anya: Operation Memories, new gameplay is available. An hour of footage shows off the Switch version specifically.

Muv-Luv Remastered, Muv-Luv Alternative Remastered

Muv-Luv Remastered and Muv-Luv Alternative Remastered will both be receiving a worldwide release on Switch with English support, anCHOR announced today. A release is planned for July 11, 2024.

Sonic Superstars gains Retro Diner Style Amy costume

A small bonus was just made available in Sonic Superstars in the form of the Retro Diner Style Amy costume. Switch players can access it now.

The costume contains new apparel for Amy to wear that brings a fun retro vibe to the Northstar Islands. The costume can be equipped during character selection by choosing Amy, and after that, selecting the left or right button when playing Story Mode. Note that it’s entirely free.

NeoSprint trailer

Courtesy of Atari and Headless Chicken Games, we have the launch trailer for NeoSprint. The isometric racer came to various platforms this week, including Switch.

Tokyo Clanpool

Eastasiasoft is partnering with Idea Factory to localize the Switch game Tokyo Clanpool for fans in the west, the company announced today. The title launches in North America and Europe later in 2024.

Tokyo Clanpool, a dungeon RPG made by Compile Heart, has players navigating mazelike dungeons in old-school first-person style. Turn-based combat is also included.

Nintendo shared new data today revealing the top 20 best-selling games on the Japanese Switch eShop for June 2024.

A familiar face is back at the top spot in the form of Suika Game, which may have seen a boost due to its recent DLC. As far as new games go, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD appears at #6. Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance and Monster Hunter Stories also make the list.

Switch 2 scalping

Nintendo is looking to ease concerns about Switch 2 scalping, and believes it won’t be an issue when the system launches.

President Shuntaro Furukawa addressed a question about the situation during the a financial results briefing last week. When asked how Nintendo will ensure that scalping doesn’t happen, Furukawa said that the company will meet demand by producing enough units. He also brought up that other measures are being considered within the law.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending June 29, 2024 is now available.

In its first week, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD reached the very top. Reports indicate that the title is the second fastest-selling Switch game of 2024, behind Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. While not a massive launch, this is ultimately more of a port and Luigi’s Mansion entries have a longer tail.

Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact Machi and Uvogin

Arc System Works, Bushiroad Games, and Eighting are introducing two more characters for Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact, and this time around we have a look at Machi and Uvogin. Fans will recognize them as two of the members of the Phantom Troupe.
