Rumor: RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D delayed to June
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, Rumors | 0 comments
RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D may have suffered another delay. GameStop is listing a June 19 release date for the title. Amazon, meanwhile, still says it’ll be out on May 22.
One of these retailers is wrong. Atari hasn’t actually provided a final, official date, so they’ll need to clarify this situation soon.
Let the Call of Duty: Black Ops II Wii speculation begin
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Rumors, Wii | 0 comments
For several years, Nintendo fans have been wondering if the next Call of Duty game will be released on the Wii. Activision is quick to confirm PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC versions, but since 2007 or so, it’s taken them until mid-late summer to confirm a Wii edition.
We’re in a unique situation this year. By the time Call of Duty: Black Ops II launches, the Wii U will probably be just about ready to hit store shelves. So will Black Ops II come to Nintendo’s new home console? Just the Wii? Both? Neither?
Most of those questions will be left unanswered until E3 (or later), but there is one sign that Black Ops II is in the works for Wii.
A sub-board for Black Ops II Wii has opened on the official Call of Duty forums. This doesn’t confirm anything completely, but you’d have to wonder why there would be such a category if the game wasn’t coming to Nintendo’s console.
This also makes us consider the possibility of Black Ops II for Wii U. Again, Activision probably won’t confirm/deny a version for Nintendo’s upcoming console until E3 or later.

Rumor: Wii U tablet shown in Rayman Legends trailer not final/definitive controller
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Rumors, Wii U | 0 comments
Before the Rayman Legends trailer leaked ou, NeoGAF member “IdeaMan” made a claim yesterday that the project is coming to Wii U. We now know that’s true. This user also said that Ubisoft Montpellier has been making the title.
In reality those comments wouldn’t be too difficult to predict. After the Rayman Legends rumors initially surfaced, it seemed likely that if it was an existing game, it would be released on Wii U. And given Ubisoft Montpellier’s involvement with Rayman Origins, it would make sense for the studio to be working on the followup. Nonetheless, this does give some credibility to one additional Wii U rumor that surfaced earlier today.
That rumor is the following – If “IdeaMan” is to be believed, the Wii U tablet design shown in the Rayman Legends trailer “is not the final and definitive controller. The one used in this trailer isn’t the ‘updated’ model.'” Make of that what you will.
I’m always very careful with Wii U rumors we post on Nintendo Everything. There’s simply too unverified speculation circulating, and the rumors are usually either blatantly fake or come from extremely dubious sources. In this case, though, I believe the content above has a pretty decent chance of being the real deal.

Rumor: Nintendo sending out new Wii U dev kit with wireless controllers in June
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Rumors, Wii U | 0 comments
Some people are already freaking out about the wire attached to the Wii U controller in the leaked Rayman Legends trailer. There’s no need to worry, though!
As we mentioned earlier, the video was most likely created using a Wii U dev kit. A story on The Verge backs this up. The site says that “the tablet has a cable coming out of the bottom of it because it is a dev kit, which currently is only available wired.” According to The Verge, Nintendo will provide studios with new kits in June which feature wireless controllers.

Once the rumor circulated, EA shares rose nearly six percent. They rose $1.22, or 8.1%, to $16.23. According to Forbes, “stock lately has been trading close to a 52-week low”.

Rumored Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 boxart
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, Rumors | 0 comments
Is this the boxart for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2? Perhaps. Twitter user “MW3Updates” shared the image above last night.
There are points that seem to imply that the boxart is real. As Kotaku notes, it uses higher-resolution art from the official series site (and GameStop page), and the text matches the font of the new Call of Duty. Then again, there are signs – such as the use of lens flare – that the box could be fake.
As far as what’s written in Italian on the box: “Prenota Subito” means “Reserve Now” and the box says “Only for Display” in the corner.
Rumor: Rayman Origins getting a sequel
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, Rumors | 0 comments
Rayman Origins failed to light the sales charts on fire, but it did manage to turn a profit for Ubisoft. Perhaps this is why the company seems to be giving the game a second shot at success.
Kotaku has acquired images from an marketing survey that implies Rayman Origins 2 is on the way. It mentions “brand new settings: legendary worlds filled with castles, vampires, Ghosts, Greek Gods, or dragons”. The sequel would contain another “long and intense campaign”, along with the ability to play alone or with up to three friends in co-op.
The survey comes from Arkenford, a company that is a regular client for Ubisoft. Although a sequel appears likely at this point, we can’t be sure this is the real deal until we receive an official confirmation from Ubisoft,
Rumor: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 promo box shows up at retailer

IGN appears to have obtained a promotional box for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. A retailer employee sent in the photo above to the site, which will be placed in stores soon.
The box looks exactly the same as the rumored poster image found earlier this week. I suppose we’ll be getting something for Black Ops 2 on May 2 after all…
