Word on the street is that Rayman Origins has been pushed back on Europe. The new release date is apparently June 7.
As far as North America goes, Best Buy shows a March 20 launch for the game. Yep – that’s next Tuesday.

This is so random that I’d be a fool not to post it.
Little Battler eXperience coming to 3DS, new game for PSP
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, Rumors | 0 comments
The Little Battler eXperience titles have found a home on the PSP since its inception. However, the latest issue of Coro Coro is rumored to have shown that the franchise will be making its way to the 3DS.
First up, Nintendo’s handheld will apparently be getting “Little Battler Experience Baku Boost”. This could be an updated version of Little Battler eXperience Boost, though this hasn’t been confirmed yet.
The PSP will likely see an entirely new game called “Little Battler eXperience W” and may tie into the anime that began airing in January.
Rumor: EB Games taking pre-orders for Donkey Kong 3D
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, Rumors | 0 comments
It seems that EB Games is taking pre-orders for “Donkey Kong 3D”. Mock boxes of the game are shown in the image above next to the likes of Kid Icarus: Uprising and Smash Bros. 3DS.
Interestingly, Italian retailer “Multiplayer.com” has a page up for the title on their site as well.
Of course, this doesn’t confirm anything one bit. Though I’m sure quite a few Nintendo fans would welcome a Donkey Kong 3D announcement at E3…
Numerous European retailers say Monster Hunter Tri G will launch this summer
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Rumors | 0 comments
Monster Hunter Tri G has been rumored for Europe for quite some time now. It’s appeared in magazines, random lists, and in retailer systems.
The latest report regarding a possible localized version is that three retailers say it will be available this summer. Tentative launch months range from July to September.
If Capcom does have plans to bring Monster Hunter Tri G to Europe and/or North America, perhaps they’ll make an announcement during Captivate. The company’s annual press event will be taking place early next month.
Rumor: Next issue of Nintendo Gamer to feature “an exclusive first-look at Assassin’s Creed III Wii U”
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Rumors, Wii U | 0 comments
Nintendo Gamer claims that they’ll have “an exclusive first-look at Assassin’s Creed III Wii U” in its next issue.
But, here’s the thing. The magazine’s previews tend to be hit or miss, and for all we know, this could be nothing more than a roundup of already-provided information. Nintendo also seems to be keeping third-parties quiet about their projects – that’s something else to to keep in mind.
In any case, here’s what the magazine wrote earlier today:
“…you’ll want to check out issue 74 of Nintendo Gamer magazine, which has an exclusive first-look at Assassin’s Creed III Wii U. We’re the only Nintendo magazine in the world to see the game, so you won’t be able to read about it anywhere else. The magazine is on sale 23 March but we’ll have a reminder nearer the time so don’t worry about whipping out your diary to mark that date.”

Rumor has it that Nintendo Software Technology is now in full production of a new title.
NST is also looking for a senior software engineer for WebKit development. A job posting was added to LinkedIn a few days ago.
The studio has created all of the Mario vs. Donkey Kong games, Wave Race: Blue Storm, 1080° Avalanche, and Metroid Prime: Hunters. They also worked on the cancelled Project H.A.M.M.E.R. and Wii Crush.
Rumor: Time Travelers due out in Japan this summer
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, Rumors | 0 comments
Time Travelers news has been light since the Level-5 Vision 2011 event last year. Even though there haven’t been many updates about the title, there’s a chance that it will launch in Japan this summer.
Composer Hideki Sakamoto made a tweet about Time Traveler’s recently. He noted that it “is due out in early summer”. Jiro Ishii saw the message, but, as Andriasang reports, only said that he “hopes everyone can hear it soon.”
Is Nintendo Power teasing an Epic Mickey 2 reveal?
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Rumors, Wii, Wii U | 0 comments
Although Disney hasn’t confirmed it, numerous pieces of evidence suggest that Epic Mickey 2 is in development. If the speculation is to be believed, Junction Point is preparing the game for the Wii (and possibly Wii U), PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
We might be hearing something official about the game next month. The latest Nintendo Power is making the rounds, and the magazine’s teaser page for their April issue says the following:
“There will be no fooling around when it comes to our April issue. We’ll have the final word of Kid Icarus: Uprising and Xenoblade Chronicles in our full reviews, and get an exclusive whiff of a top-secret title that promises to make your head spin.”
In reference to the “top-secret title”, Nintendo Power included a pair of ears that are apparently very reminiscent of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.
We don’t have an image of the teaser page yet, but we’ll add it into this post once we get our hands on a photo.
Rumor: Nintendo looking into digital distribution partners for Wii U
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Rumors, Wii U | 0 comments
Rumor has it that Nintendo is looking into forming ties with a variety of partners for digital distribution on Wii U. In doing so, it would appear that the company has interest in making the console a media entertainment device that goes far beyond what we saw on Wii – it’d be more like what Microsoft is offering with the Xbox 360.
Adweek claims that the company held discussions with “a select number of top content companies” at CES last month “including multiple cable networks and Web video producers”. Sports, music, television, and other entertainment content would be involved in these plans.
One of Adweek’s sources says that “This is very preliminary. It could go nowhere.”
Meanwhile, Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter has already weighed in on the rumor:
“I don’t know if they have the chops to pull it off. I don’t think game publishers are going to support it (the console).”
