The countdown for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance continues, and today’s Daily Demon is Senri, a staple demon in the series that makes its return in Vengeance.

Upcoming Switch game The Rise of the Golden Idol just received its first proper trailer. The title was announced at The Game Awards at the end of last year, but only with a brief teaser. Today’s trailer gives us actual gameplay.

Demonschool release date

We’ve been waiting to hear about the release date for Demonschool, and today, publisher Ysbryd Games and developer Necrosoft shared that information. It’ll be coming to Switch on September 13, 2024.

Originally announced in 2022, Demonschool is a school-life tactics RPG with hints of Persona, Shin Megami Tensei, and Italian horror cinema. It was planned for 2023 at the time, but extra development was needed.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance opening movie

Atlus’ string of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance content continues, and this time around, we have a look at the opening movie. The video will play when you first boot up the RPG.

Downward Enhanced trailer

Downward Enhanced came to Switch this week, and we have a new launch trailer for the game. It provides a final look at the first-person open-world parkour based platform adventure.

The countdown for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance continues, and Dormath has now been highlighted as another demon video. In terms of mainline game appearances, it’s fairly new having first shown up in Shin Megami Tensei IV on 3DS. 

The Smurfs Village Party gameplay

With The Smurfs: Village Party seeing its release on Switch this week, a new round of gameplay is available. A bunch of different mini-games are showcased here.

Sonic x Shadow Generations footage

Sonic x Shadow Generations is one of the more notable games set to appear on Switch later this year, and the first footage has now come through. It’s on display at a media event for Summer Game Fest, and thanks to VGC, we’re able to see gameplay.

Fans can see the remastered version of Green Hill Zone here. Additionally, we have a look at Space Colony Ark, a stage for Shadow, and a Biolizard boss fight.

The Star Named EOS release date

Thanks to Playism and Silver Lining Studio, we have a release date for The Star Named EOS. Switch owners can pick it up on July 23, 2024.

The Star Named EOS was previously announced for Switch towards the end of last year. Prior to today, we had a Spring 2024 launch window.

Moonstone Island release date

The wait for the Switch version of Moonstone Island is nearly over and a release date was just shared. Today, Raw Fury and Studio Supersoft revealed that the game arrives on June 19, 2024.

Moonstone Island was revealed for Switch a couple of years ago. The PC version shipped last September, and since then, the game has grown. The team has added 70 new spirits, and players will be able to access a never-ending dungeon with rewards, “Decorator’s Pass” that grants access to all the DLC cosmetics since launch (with more to come), and a new marriage component allowing them to move in with a chosen spouse following a special wedding scene.
