NPD Group has released a listing of the top ten best-selling games in the U.S. for the month of January. The results can be found below.

Nintendo of Europe finally confirmed a release date for Fire Emblem: Awakening in Europe: April 16. Additionally, the company announced a 3DS XL bundle for the continent.

You read that correctly: 3DS XL, not 3DS.

North America and Europe also received Fire Emblem bundles, but both included original 3DS models. Europe’s package includes the special blue 3DS XL.

Don’t worry, European dungeon-crawling fans: Etrian Odyssey IV will launch throughout the content. Today’s Nintendo Direct confirms that a release is planned for spring.


Nintendo will host yet another Nintendo Direct next week. According to Satoru Iwata, the presentation will focus on 3DS content – not Wii U. It’s unclear if broadcasts will be held in North America and Europe as well.

Nintendo is continuing to release the Inazuma Eleven games in Europe. Next up is Inazuma Eleven 3: Spark/Bomber.

You may remember that Inazuma Eleven 3 was originally a DS game. In Europe, it’ll be available as a 3DS title.

Inazuma Eleven 3: Spark/Bomber will launch in Europe this summer.
