Kadokawa Games has moved the Japanese release date of High School DxD. It was originally slated for November, but has now been delayed to December due to quality concerns.

Consumers will be able to purchase a collector’s edition for High School DxD when it finally becomes available. The package comes with items such as earphones, a cord manager with Rias art, a piece of cloth that can transform into underwear, a 3D card, and two decorative bands. Pricing is set at 9,240 yen.

Remember how Zelda: Skyward Sword’s main theme played backwards actually turned out to be Zelda’s Lullaby? It would appear that Nintendo has implemented something similar for a track in Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. One of the game’s musical pieces, if played in reverse, seems to be the Hyrule Castle theme from A Link to the Past.

Check out the video above to hear the song played in both directions. You can also listen to A Link to the Past’s Hyrule Castle theme here.

2DS sales have risen 64 percent week-on-week in the UK. The boost, in part, is due to a price cut initiated by retailers. Argos, Amazon and Tesco, and others have been offering the 2DS for just under £100. The 2DS alone was the best-selling console in the UK last week, and that’s without counting 3DS/3DS XL sales.

Swapnote

Update 2: Nintendo’s official announcement is in. You can find it after the break.

Update: We’re now getting the indication that SpotPass features for Swapnote have been disabled worldwide. StreetPass still appears to be functioning.

Original: As of now, Japanese 3DS users can no longer take advantage of the ability to share images in Swapnote and Flipnote Studio 3D. Nintendo discovered that inappropriate content was being distributed, which was deemed inappropriate for children. Unfortunately, Nintendo has yet to devise a means of maintaining a safe environment for everyone without suspending online image sharing.
