3DS XL may have screen scratching issues
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, Rumors | 0 comments
Some European consumers have been experiencing screen scratching issues with the newly launched 3DS XL. The scratches have been appearing in the form of various dots on the top screen, occasionally forming lines.
When the original 3DS hit store shelves, users also complained of screen scratching on the top screen. In some cases, this continued even with with more recent 3DS units.
It’s currently unclear how big of an issue screen scratching could turn out to be for the 3DS XL.
This is definitely a Pushmo ripoff

There have been lots of Nintendo-related ripoffs in the past. Some are worse than others. But this latest one – boy oh boy, it’s pretty obvious that the developer took inspiration from one of Nintendo’s eShop games.
Above are screenshots from BlockShift. It’s a title that can be downloaded for the Android platform. You can probably tell that it features the same style and gameplay included in Pushmo, the Nintendo-published and Intelligent Systems-made eShop title. Heck, it even supports QR codes!
I guess the only bright spot in all of this is that BlockShift is free, so at least the developer isn’t looking to make a profit from the game…

A few Gyrozetter 3DS tidbits

Square Enix’s Gyrozetter 3DS game, announced late last year and detailed a few months back, is scheduled to hit Japan this spring.
The company’s Gyrozetter arcade title made use of Unreal Engine 3. As you would expect, the 3DS game won’t.
Gyrozetter 3DS is a completely original RPG, and it won’t have many ties to the arcade version. Producer Ryutaro Ichimura says development is progressing well.
