Capcom will release a limited edition version of E.X. Troopers exclusively through its online store. It comes with a figure of the Tikki character with stand, a rubber strap for Tikki, and another rubber strap selected at random. The random rubber strap will be included in the standard edition.

Consumers will be able to grab the E.X. Troopers limited edition on 3DS for 9,990 yen and on PS3 for 10,990 yen.

Ngmoco CEO Neil Young gave a simple response when asked if he considers Nintendo to be a competitor. He said, “No … Well… no.”

Young’s company has been publishing iOS and Android titles for several years now. It’s these types of releases that are considered to be a threat to the dedicated handheld gaming business.
