So uh… not the best lineup around, but maybe Rising Star Games’ lineup will offer more core experiences in the coming years…

TORRANCE, Calif. – April 19, 2012 – Rising Star Games Inc. today announced four new Nintendo 3DS™ and Nintendo DS™ titles to further expand the company’s current 2012 North American portfolio.

Rising Star Games’ portable lineup offers a variety of casual titles, all due for release in summer through fall, including the following (in order of scheduled release):

Ghostlight will be bringing two Shin Megami Tensei games to Europe. Devil Survivor Overclocked and Devil Survivor 2 are seeing localization for PAL regions. Both titles are without release dates for the time being.

The official announcement has been posted below.

Ghostlight have today announced that they will be releasing their first Nintendo 3DS™ JRPG. As anticipated by many fans, Ghostlight’s first title on the platform is the eagerly awaited Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, the Nintendo 3DS™ remake of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. They will also be releasing the amazing Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor II on Nintendo DS™ throughout the PAL region.

About SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked

Considered one of the best RPGs of 2009*, the original Devil Survivor presented gamers with a novel premise: Tokyo is in full lockdown, the government’s swift, coldblooded response to a surprise demon invasion. While you and your friends must solve the nature of the inter-dimensional rift through which the horrific creatures are entering your world, saving the world is not your highest priority; staying alive, on the other hand, is.

Today’s 3DS eShop update includes a new shelf for Kirby. Hidden in the section is an entry for Kirby’s Block Ball, complete with a page listing, trailer, and screenshots. The eShop says that the title is “Coming to the Nintendo eShop”, so I assume we’ll be seeing it on the store sometime within the next few weeks. It’ll cost $2.99 when it launches in North America.

On this week’s episode: Spirit Camera, Colors! 3D, Kid Icarus Uprising and PAX East 2012.

The OFLC has outed two new Virtual Console titles for the 3DS.

First up is the classic Game Boy title, Castlevania: The Adventure. It’s already available on the Japanese eShop, so it makes sense that the game will be heading to other territories. Master of Darkness has also been rated by the OFLC and should be available as a Game Gear VC download in the near future.
