Bravely Default may look similar to Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light, but two different companies were involved in the development of the games.
The latest Japanese demo for Bravely Default – made available on the eShop today – reveals that Silicon Studio is working on the title. The company previously created 3D Dot Game Heroes for PlayStation 3. Bravely Default is Silicon Studio’s first 3DS project.
Although Bravely Default has been drawing comparisons to The 4 Heroes of Light, Matrix handled development responsibilities for the old DS game.

Team Meat’s Ed McMillen tweeted about the situation:
“Attention: After a long internal debate Nintendo has decided NOT to allow the Binding of Isaac on the 3ds. …As many assumed the reasons were due to the games ‘questionable religious content’. Thank GOD Steam exists!

Nintendo comments on Pokemon Black/White 2 coming to DS rather than 3DS
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, DS, News | 0 comments
Some fans are still reeling over the announcement that Pokemon Black/White 2 are in development for the DS. After all, most studios and consumers have moved on to Nintendo’s latest handheld, the 3DS.
What does Nintendo have to say about the situation?
Here’s a statement from one representative at the company:
“Remember that Nintendo 3DS can also play all Nintendo DS Pokemon games. The Nintendo DS family also has a massive installed base of more than 51 million systems in the United States alone, and we are keen on continuing to deliver new experiences to this audience.”
