3DS

Still no word on when we can expect RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D… at least we have some new screenshots!

This is an encouraging sign, but… My rule of thumb is not to get excited until a company confirms a rumor. There have been plenty of instances in which one (or more) publication has reported on something, and then everyone gets disappointed when they find out that the speculation was incorrect.

I would be surprised if Tri G stayed in Japan, though let’s just wait and see how this rumor plays out.

Mighty Switch Force won’t be the only WayForward title for the eShop. CEO John Beck has said that the store “will be a major part of our strategy for handheld games going forward.”

Beck told Gamasutra:

“When you have certain content that is available exclusively on dedicated gaming devices, it really helps to set that content apart. The eShop will be a major part of our strategy for handheld games going forward.”

Will WayForward make a Mighty Switch Force sequel? Will they make a completely original game? Only time will tell!

As it turns out, the speculated European release date for Dillon’s Rolling Western didn’t come directly from MCVUK. Nintendo actually placed an ad inside the magazine, which makes the rumor much more credible. It’d be odd to see Dillon’s Rolling Western on the eShop given how little attention its received in recent weeks, but I wouldn’t complain if it happened!
