Is a confirmation for Monster Hunter Tri G almost here? That appears to be the case, as numerous Japanese blogs are reporting that the title has been announced. One would think that if it’s true, the news would be taken from this week’s Famitsu.

And here’s another odd rumor: apparently the magazine also has information on a new peripheral for 3DS that will allow the system to use a second slide pad. You know, it’s basically that crazy rumor that originally popped up on 01Net… except now it’s not looking so crazy!

Hopefully we’ll receive some concrete information soon.

A few weeks ago, we posted a listing of pre-TGS rumors that now appears to be completely legitimate. With Nintendo’s 3DS Conference taking place in less than a week, how about we throw some new speculation into the mix?

The rumors are:

• Monster Hunter exclusive for 3DS, supports online play.
• A Yoshi side scroller for 3DS, developed by Good-Feel.
• New game from WarioWare team.
• Etrian Odyssey 3DS
• Hatsune Miku 3DS, contains all songs from Project DIVA 1 and 2.
• New 3DS color: solid silver.
• Presentation on eShop demos; Super Mario Land 3D will have a downloadable demo.
• The “new project” from Alchemist, the famous visual novel company, is an entirely new “moe mystery” for 3DS.
• Ace Attorney 5, will supposedly include an Edgeworth scenario. AA: Investigations being phased in to main series?

This rumor batch seems more believable than some of the other claims that have been thrown around in recent days. However, you should still be cautious of the points above. I have a feeling that the rumors originated from 2ch, and that site has a habit of making a few things up…
