I’d like to begin by saying that I’m not telling you to never buy the 3DS. Actually, I think it’s a very cool system. I just do not believe it’s worth a purchase right out of the gate. Here’s why:

Update: There appears to be some confusion about Famitsu scores this week. It has been confirmed that Famitsu did not write any reviews in their last issue, but the scores below were supposedly the real deal. That’s come into question now, as 1UP says that there are no reviews this week. I’m inclined to believe them, for now at least. We’ll let you know if we hear anything else about the reviews…

5th April 2011 – All aboard the submarine, as we’re going diving on 6th May 2011, when Steel Diver launches across Europe for the newly released Nintendo 3DS system. Submerge yourself into this watery world by taking the controls of your very own submarine, guiding it safely past obstacles and dodging attacks from enemy ships out to get you. Enjoy three different game modes in Steel Diver, each offering varied, fun submarine action in full glasses-free 3D.


I wasn’t going to post this, but I figured I might as well. Ubisoft is already bringing its “Petz” line to the 3DS. I suppose this counts as one of the many games they have in the works for the system. I’m not interested, but perhaps one of you guys out there are… or maybe not.

Tales of the Abyss 3DS will no longer hit Japanese store shelves on May 19. Namco Bandai announced a delay for the game and have yet to provide a new release date. No reason was given for the delay.
