Japanese blog Sinobi is reporting that Wii U supply will be limited in Japan. The tidbit comes from Nintendo’s most-recent retailer meeting.

Consumers will be able to choose from three Wii U products in Japan: the Basic Set, Premium Set, and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate bundle. It’s the Basic set that will apparently have the most stock.

Sinobi didn’t share specific numbers since it didn’t want to negatively impact big retailers. The fact of the matter is that the number of units available will be lower than originally expected, and Japanese consumers could have a tough time placing a pre-order.
