“Thank you for contacting us in regard to The Magic Obelisk. Unfortunately, the product you inquired about is no longer available at the Wii Shop Channel, and we are very sorry for the inconvenience. We appreciate your interest in our product, and we hope our upcoming products will bring you enjoyment and satisfaction.”

Well, at least this confirms that the game is indeed completely gone from the shop. It also probably means that it won’t be reappearing on the service anytime soon…

Renegade Kid hopes to release Mutant Mudds this year

This information comes from Jools Watsham, CEO and Creative Director of Renegade Kid…

“I am hoping it will be released before the end of 2011. But, we’re not going to rush the game out before we feel it is ready. We have only one chance to release a respectable 2D platform game, if players are to trust us with future 2D platform games.”

While I would like to play Mutant Mudds this year, I wouldn’t be opposed to a delay. In the end, I’d rather have the best product available. I’m sure most of you feel the same way!

The Magic Obelisk disappears from Wii Shop Channel

If you’ve had any interest in The Magic Obelisk, hopefully you’ve purchased it by now. Why you ask?

Without any sort of notice, the game has been pulled from the Wii Shop Channel. There’s no announcement or explanation on the shop. It’s just gone. If you look for the game, it won’t appear. I have no idea why it’d be taken down, so it’d be great to receive a reason for its removal!

n-Space’s third 3DS project isn’t a first-person shooter

n-Space has one last 3DS title to announce. Based on information provided by the company a few months ago, it’ll be released in the first quarter of 2012.

That’s pretty much all we know about the mystery project at the moment… except for one additional detail. According to the company’s Facebook page, it’s not a first-person shooter.

n-Space’s two other 3DS titles are Heroes of Ruin and Jaws: Ultimate Predator. Heroes of Ruin will launch in 2012 while Jaws will arrive later this year.
