Fire Emblem Fates’ third story path out in Japan next month

Nintendo is selling two versions of Fire Emblem Fates. The Conquest and Birthright versions are heading to retail, though there are also plans for a third story path that will be sold as DLC.
The Japanese Fire Emblem Fates website confirms that this will be made available in July. A specific release date hasn’t been announced, but as it’s only a month away, it shouldn’t be too long before we receive that information.

Miiverse restrictions will now be applied to all accounts on the same system

Nintendo is changing up the way it handles restrictions on Miiverse. Going forward, restrictions will be applied to all accounts on the same system.
In a Miiverse post, Nintendo noted that, in the past, users would evade restrictions by creating a new Nintendo Network account or use a previously-created one. Doing so would allow them to bypass punishments. With the new “rule”, Nintendo will be able to prevent this in the future.

A bunch of new 3DS themes are out now in Japan. These include more themes based on Pokemon and more.
Here’s the full list:
Pokemon (Mega Charizard Y/Mega Rayquaza) – 200 yen
Pokemon (Eevee Collection) – 200 yen
Battle Cats – 100 yen
Gero (x2) – 200 yen each
Shinsei Kamattechan – 200 yen
Zombie Panic in Wonderland (x5) – 100 yen each
Alien on the Run – 50 yen

Update: Bumped to the top. We have the official announcement from Nintendo with a breakdown of sales in each region. That’s posted after the break.
Splatoon has sold one million copies, Nintendo has announced. That figure accounts for units moved in all territories, including North America, Europe, and Japan.
Nintendo also prepared a new Japanese commercial for Splatoon today. You can watch that below.
