Disney Music Parade Encore

August 27: During today’s Japanese Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, Disney Music Parade Encore was announced for Switch. It’s due out on November 21, 2024 in Japan and December 12 in Asia. The Asian version seemingly supports English.

Disney Music Parade previously released on mobile in 2021. The rhythm action game has scenes from Disney and Pixar films, and players use the touchscreen to tap and swipe in time with the music. Various songs such as “A Whole New World” And “Under the Sea” are included. Four players are supported locally.

GSC is celebrating the new Switch version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Legends of the Zone Trilogy with a launch trailer. Shadow of Chornobyl (2007), Clear Sky (2008) and Call of Prypiat (2009) can be purchased starting today.

Pokemon Unite Freezing Rush Pt. 2 update 1.16.2.8

The next Pokemon Unite update, dubbed “Freezing Rush Pt. 2”, is out now. This is also known as version 1.16.2.8.

If you’re into balance adjustments, you’ll probably be into this new patch as that’s what it’s about really. A bug fix is also included.

The Bunny Garden trailer

We knew The Bunny Graveyard would be arriving on Switch at some point, but a specific timeframe was never provided. As it turns out, you can grab it right now. Pichon Games has launched it on the eShop.

Plans for a Switch version of The Bunny Graveyard were made known at the very start of the year. Only a 2024 launch window was given at the time.

FUZE4 Nintendo Switch update

The coding app FUZE4 Nintendo Switch got a major update today along with a price drop.

For the update, users will find speed-up optimizations, over 60 new functions, many usability enhancements and almost a thousand new game assets across 2D, 3D and audio. Essential bug fixes are also included.

Rec Room Switch release date

Rec Room, the user-generated content (UGC) game, now has a release date on Switch and it’s probably closer than you’d think. It will be available on November 6, 2024.

Plans for the Switch version were confirmed in July. However, this is the first time we’ve been given any sort of launch window.

Nintendo shared new data today revealing the top 20 best-selling games on the Japanese Switch eShop for October 2024.

This month’s chart is filled with lots of new releases. Unsurprisingly, Super Mario Party Jamboree comes out on top. But we also see other recent games including Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven, Yakuza Kiwami, and Core Keeper. Also, if you’re wondering why Mario & Luigi: Brothership is here despite not launching, that’s because pre-loads just started.

Blades & Battles

Today, QUByte Interactive unveiled Blades & Battles as its new original project. It is now in development for Switch, but no release window has been decided.

Blades & Battles is an action game set in a fantasy world in which players take on the mission to rescue the wizard Merlin from the clutches of the evil witch Morgana. Arthur and Lancelot are the game’s two main characters. Players will face powerful enemies threatening the safety of their people in the game. Combos and dynamic combat are the main selling points, and players will need to battle through hordes of enemies and formidable bosses that will put their skills to the test.

Clawed Cult

Today, publisher QUByte Interactive and Cotton Cat Studios shared the news that Clawed Cult will be appearing on Switch. The two sides are keeping quiet on launch timing for now.

Clawed Cult is described as “a roguelite bullet heaven game with cute cultist animals invoking their elder god, Catchulhu.” Players will be tasked with guiding them through battles by using abilities and strategy.
