The Backrooms 1998 release date

The Backrooms 1998 was announced for Nintendo Switch less than a month ago, but it already has a release date. Feardemic and Steelkrill Studio will be bringing it over on February 20, 2025.

As previously mentioned, The Backrooms 1998 is a found footage survival horror game. The recent announcement did not provide a release window, but it turns out we’re just a few days away from the console debut.

Antipaint

January 1: Antipaint came to PC a little while back to a strong reception, and a Nintendo Switch version is now confirmed to be int he works. The port is “coming soon”.

Antipaint is a roguelike shooter with plenty of action. The title has players battling famous works of art, and after defeating each one, they’ll join your collection.

Ultros gameplay

Lulu's Temple

Ratalaika Games has announced another indie port and is preparing Lulu’s Temple for Nintendo Switch. The game is due out this week – specifically February 21, 2025.

Lulu’s Temple is an action adventure game about an archeologist venturing deep inside a pyramid. He’ll have just a torch and gun to protect him.

The Stone of Madness update

The Stone of Madness has shared patch notes for a major update that will soon be made available on Nintendo Switch.

The update includes improvements, balances, and fixes. Players can expect improved menu navigation and better performance, quality of life features, and more.

Blue Wednesday

Forever Entertainment is working with Buff Studio to port Blue Wednesday to Nintendo Switch, it’s been announced. It will be available on March 27, 2025.

Blue Wednesday is a musical-based point-and-click adventure game. Players will explore a city, meet characters, have conversations, play mini-games, collect music albums, and play music.

IronFall Invasion 1.1 update Greenhouse

IronFall Invasion, VD-Dev’s Nintendo Switch shooter originally released on 3DS, was updated this week to version 1.1.

The inclusion of a new Greenhouse arena is the  big highlight here. However, other improvements are included as well.
