Cassette Beasts update 1.5

Cassette Beasts received its latest update this week, with the game moving up to version 1.5. Full patch notes are available.

The new update comes with some additions particularly for quality of life – things like a color-blind accessibility option, new filter options for the sticker inventory, and more. That’s along with some other changes and bug fixes.

Knight vs Giant: The Broken Excalibur launch trailer

A final trailer is in for Knight vs Giant: The Broken Excalibur that ties in with the game’s launch. PQube and Gambir Studio are showing off their medieval fantasy roguelite one final time.

Valfaris: Mecha Therion

The 2.5D side-scrolling shoot ’em up game Valfaris: Mecha Therion is in development for Switch, it’s been revealed. A release window has not been determined at this time.

Valfaris: Mecha Therion is a sequel to the original game, which is currently available on Switch. But while that 2019 title was a 2D action platformer, Steel Mantis is going in a different direction with its next project.

Sunshine Manor launch trailer

Thanks to Fossil Games, we’ve got the official launch trailer for Sunshine Manor. The 8-bit blood-soaked horror RPG arrives just a few weeks before Halloween.

Alphadia I & II

Kemco is readying its next Switch release, which will actually be a double launch with Alphadia I & II. It’ll be available on October 13, 2023.

The Dark Pictures Anthology Little Hope Switch launch trailer

Bandai Namco and Supermassive are celebrating the new version of The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope with a launch trailer. The release comes just a couple of weeks after it was confirmed for Nintendo’s system.

Cook, Serve, Delicious 1 release date

A release date has been confirmed for the Switch version of Cook, Serve, Delicious 1. As revealed by an eShop listing, it’s launching on October 12, 2023.

A port of Cook, Serve, Delicious 1 was announced this past summer. The other two entries in the series are already available on Switch.

Witchy Life Story

A year after its initial launch, Sundew Studios is now putting Witchy Life Story on Switch. The developer has announced that it will be available for the console on October 19, 2023.

The game is a narrative sim in which players have two weeks to save the harvest festival. Along the way, you’ll be working on your garden and collecting plants for spells and rituals to help the villagers.

F-Zero 99

Nintendo released a new video today showcasing a few European digital game highlights from September 2023. Some of the highlighted titles include F-Zero 99, Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster, EA Sports FC 24, and Trombone Champ.
