Distant Bloom

February 7: Today, publisher Kinda Brave and developer Ember Trail announced Distant Bloom for Nintendo Switch. A release window has yet to be provided.

Distant Bloom is described as a “serene management game” that “lets you explore an alien planet where things have gone amiss.” You’ll be using plants to restore the world and build a community with your crewmates.

Is this Game Trying to Kill Me

Today, Sometimes You announced a new console release for Is this Game Trying to Kill Me, and the game is soon launching on Nintendo Switch. It’s planned for April 4, 2025.

Is this Game Trying to Kill Me originally came to PC last year, courtesy of Stately Snail. It features both horror and first-person puzzle gameplay elements.

Sonokuni

March 6: Today, Kakehashi Games and Don Yasa Crew announced that they’re bringing Sonokuni to Nintendo Switch. No release window was provided, but it’s planned to launch soon after the PC version – which is currently slated for Q1 2025.

Sonokuni is a Japanese hip hop biopunk action title. You’ll play as Takeru, a lone assassin tasked with raiding a surreal superpower empowered by biotechnology. The story is inspired by real-life Japanese mythology.

Green Tile Digital’s upcoming game Locomoto is planned for Nintendo Switch, it’s been announced. Expect to see this one later in 2025.

In the life-sim adventure train game, players act as a conductor. It features train customization, crafting, interacting with different characters, and more.

I Hate This Place

Broken Mirror Game, in collaboration with Skybound Entertainment, today announced I Hate This Place. The game launches in Q4 2025 for Nintendo Switch.

I Hate This Place is an open-world survival horror game. Bloober Team is setting up a new horror label, and this project will be a part of it.

A trailer for Caligo has been released announcing a Nintendo Switch version. The game, developed and published by Krealit, originally released on Steam in 2017 but is making its’ way to home consoles under porter and publisher Sometimes You.

Into the Restless Ruins

February 11: Into the Restless Ruins will be released on various consoles including Nintendo Switch, publisher Wales Interactive and developer Ant Workshop shared today. It’s due out this spring with a specific release date to follow.

Into the Restless Ruins is a roguelike deckbuilder with auto-battles in which players create the dungeon they fight through. This is done through cards as they make up the rooms and corridors.

Publisher Sometimes You and developer Megalixir Games are working to bring Sol Dorado Heist to Nintendo Switch, it’s been announced. The title is planned for April 2, 2025.

Sol Dorado Heist is a visual novel at its core. While attempting to solve the mystery of a casino heist, players will make choices that lead to one of four different endings.
