Square Enix is hosting one of its biggest Nintendo eShop sales ever for Switch right now, with many games at new low prices – Final Fantasy 9, NieR: Automata, and Octopath Traveler 2 are just a few of these. Well over fifty titles from the publisher are seeing discounts currently.

Today, Patrones & Escondites announced that it will release Pineapple: A Bittersweet Revenge on Nintendo Switch. The game is due out on July 18, 2025.
Pineapple: A Bittersweet Revenge has you taking on the role of a quiet hero of a school, who’s looking to get back at the class bully by hiding pineapples in her most personal spaces. The “prank simulator” is hand-drawn while featuring “a gentle story about unfairness, and the strange emotional baggage we carry from school.”

Decemberborn Interactive is making Cathedral: Crow’s Curse for Nintendo Switch, the studio announced today. As of now we don’t have word on launch timing.
Cathedral: Crow’s Curse is a standalone prequel to Cathedral, which previously came to Nintendo Switch. The action adventure game features a new pixel art style, dynamic lighting, fluid animations, and a new story centered around the enigmatic Shade Sentinels and their fateful curse.

Today, Outerminds shared the release date for Turbo Kid on Nintendo Switch. It’s slated for August 5, 2025.

Goblinz Publishing, Entalto Publishing, and Duper Games today provided the release date for Day of the Shell. It arrives for Nintendo Switch on July 29, 2025.
Day of the Shell, a roguelite strategy game, was only just revealed for Nintendo Switch in May. Last we heard, it was planned for sometime in Q3 2025.
