Mighty No. 9 has smashed through another stretch goal on Kickstarter. The game will now be receiving a Challenge Mode, having raised $2.4 million.

Next up for Mighty No. 9 is an extra end stage and boss. These elements will both be included if funds reach $2.55 million.

Just a little over a week remains in Mighty No. 9’s Kickstarter campaign.

Over The Moon’s new project “The Fall” appears to be heading to Wii U. The studio says that the game will be released on Nintendo’s console following the initial PC and Mac release.

The Fall mixes action platforming and adventure gaming. Players control virtual intelligence known as “ARID” in the form of a combat suit. When activated, the human pilot inside slips into unconsciousness. ARID will need to help the human pilot and carry it to safety.

On Kickstarter, Over The Moon has already reached its goal of $17,000 CAD with 17 days remaining. A Wii U stretch goal lies at $29,000 CAD. There’s a pretty good chance of the Kickstarter hitting that target, though a recent update from the studio suggests that a Wii U version is guaranteed.

We’ll keep you posted. Hopefully they can share more on it soon!

The Inner World hasn’t been confirmed for Wii U, but a representative from Headup Games has said that the title “would be a great fit” on the system.

BeefJack was told the following when asked whether The Inner World could head to the Wii U in the future:

“You’re right, Inner World would be a great fit for Nintendo’s Wii U, it even would look good in a boxed version there.”

“We are evaluating further platforms at the moment and then [we’ll] decide whether to port The Inner World to a console or not.”

Headup is currently busy finishing up the iOS version of The Inner World. Until that’s done, the team can’t truly begin to consider other versions.
