So much for yesterday’s tease! Batgirl won’t be in Batman: Arkham Origins, despite a note from WB Games Montreal’s Eric Holmes at Comic-Con yesterday that seemed to hint at the character’s possible inclusion. Speaking with IGN, Holmes flat-out confirmed that Batgirl will not be appearing in Origins. Oh well…

SEGA has a pair of Sonic Lost World accessory sets lined up for Japan. First, the “Sonic Character Case Set”, priced at 2,980 yen, includes a 3DS XL case, pouch, and soundtrack CD. SEGA will also release the “Earphone Set” for 2,480 yen. This comes with official earphone jacks.

Some gamers feel that the Assassin’s Creed games have lacked satisfying endings. Perhaps the “cycle” will be broken with this year’s release, Black Flag.

Assassin’s Creed IV lead writer Darby McDevitt recently took to Twitter and said that the upcoming title will in fact be satisfying:

You’ll be able to place your own judgement on Black Flag’s ending when it launches in October.
