IGN has published a second interview with Takashi Tezuka, this time focusing on New Super Mario Bros. 2.

Tezuka commented on the core differences between the 3DS title and New Super Mario Bros. Wii U, revealed that the Assist Block will be in Bros. 2, discussed the game’s difficulty, and even fielded a question about a return to Super Mario Bros. 2.

Head past the break for all of Tezuka’s comments.

Satoru Iwata has provided a few more details as to how Nintendo will be monitoring Miiverse. A three-prong approach will be used for the service.

First, content will be filtered through software, which will detect inappropriate words. That obviously isn’t full-proof, so that’s where “human resources” come in. Iwata says that Nintendo will load up on staffers who will oversee Miiverse. The last method is community feedback, which we previously heard about. Users will be able to mark undesired content that will be sent to Nintendo for review.

Software filtering won’t see much of a delay, but it goes without saying that the situation is different for human monitoring, as its a manual process. Therefore, posts created likely won’t appear immediately. The time between the creation of content and approval will vary based on the number of people using Miiverse and the amount of employees working on the service.

According to Iwata:

“The attraction of a social network is the immediacy of the feedback.”

Iwata noted that its also important that parents feel comfortable with Miiverse. Nintendo will be looking for feedback about the delay. Iwata himself believes a 30-minute delay “should be acceptable”.
