Nintendo Gamer review scores – issue #80 (final issue)
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News, Wii | 0 comments
This month’s Nintendo Gamer review scores are as follows:
Wii
Kirby’s Dream Collection: Special Edition – 79%
3DS
One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP2 – 27%
Yes, these really are the only two scores in the latest Nintendo Gamer. They did call it the “worst ever review section”, after all!
And with that, we say goodbye to Nintendo Gamer…
Thanks to joclo for the tip.

Jerry Lambert (the actor behind Sony’s “Kevin Butler”) seen in an ad promoting the Wii

Perhaps my favorite thing that exists in the world is irony, and while I know this story doesn’t actually “mean” anything tangible, it has about as much of the stuff as you could cram into anything particularly related to video games. Why? The actor portraying Sony’s great marketing icon “Kevin Butler” is appearing in a Bridgestone advertisement that contains a tie-in with the Wii.
It’s not clear to me whether this is a contest or a promotion or something less significant, but it is- for what it’s worth- ironic.

Disney hasn’t officially confirmed this product for France or any other territory. If it does come out, it’ll be available on November 19.
Namco Bandai’s huge TGS 2012 lineup, more games to be confirmed

Namco Bandai will undoubtedly have one of the biggest lineups for this year’s Tokyo Game Show. Between playable games and others being shown in video form, the company will have around titles games on hand.
That’s not counting extra projects that haven’t been confirmed. You’ll notice that Namco Bandai’s official TGS site includes some blocks with a “Coming Soon” label. Perhaps we’ll be seeing some announcements prior to or during the show?
Take a look at Namco Bandai’s lineup below. We didn’t bother translating the mobile games and other releases that most of you won’t be interested in, but the list is mostly complete. You can find a few extra games on the TGS site.

At one point, a new Crash Team Racing title was in the works. High Impact Games was developing the title for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii.
The plug was eventually pulled on the new Crash Team Racing project. We’ll never see it on store shelves, but you can find a few screenshots in the gallery above.
