An official Kirby’s Return to Dream Land soundtrack will be available fom the Japanese Club Nintendo website. Titled “Kirby Wii Music Selection”, the reward offers a total of 45 tracks from the game.

Club Nintendo members can order the soundtrack for 400 points. It seems as though the item can be received for 250 points when Kirby’s Return to Dream Land/Kirby’s Dream Collection Special Edition are registered with the site.

So yeah, no open world in the Wii version (or 3DS/DS editions). Kind of a shame, but what can you do?

Rock Band’s gigantic music library dwarfs that of any other rhythm video game on the market. More than 100 million songs have been sold through the Rock Band Music Store since its launch on Nov. 20, 2007.

Tracks downloaded from the Rock Band Music Store are compatible with the award-winning full-band Rock Band 3 experience, as well as the upcoming controller-based Rock Band Blitz, coming summer of 2012 for Xbox LIVE® Arcade and PlayStation®Network!

A few more details on Kirby’s Dream Collection Special Edition were shared during the latest Nintendo Direct. We’ve rounded up the information for you below.

– Again: the games are Kirby’s Dream Land and Kirby’s Dream Land 2 from the Game Boy. Kirby’s Adventure from the NES. Kirby’s Dream Land 3 and Kirby Super Star from the SNES and Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards from the Nintendo 64
– Kirby’s Dream Land 1/2 will be playable on Wii for the first time
– The other games have been made available through the Virtual Console
– Has new challenges from Kirby’s Return to Dream Land
– History of Kirby gallery
– This gallery has concept art, Kirby cartoon show episodes, and more
– Package has an art book and soundtrack CD
– New Kirby merchandise heading to Club Nintendo Japan: pillows, handbags in a contest
– In Japan, the collection will be promoted by Game Center CX’s celebrity gamer Shinya Arino playing through Kirby Super Star in a special episode of that popular retro-gaming TV show

Kirby’s Dream Collection Special Edition has already been ruled out for Australia. It’s possible that the package won’t be heading to the UK either.

You may have noticed that Kirby’s Dream Collection Special Edition was missing from NOE’s Nintendo Direct presentation. When asked about the game, a spokesperson said that Nintendo UK had “nothing to announce at this time”.

Six games, a Museum Mode, artbook, soundtrack, and more are included in Kirby’s Dream Collection Special Edition. The package is due out next month in Japan and September in North America.
