Wii U eShop

Nintendo UK will begin its “Nintendo Unleashed Tour” at the 2013 MCM London Comic Con later this month. The expo – taking place between May 24 and May 26 – will house a number of playable demos for the Wii U and 3DS including Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut, Rayman Legends, Game & Wario, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Along with demos, Nintendo staff will provide tips, tricks, and advice. Multiplayer events for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Luigi’s Mansion 2, and Mario Kart 7 will be hosted as well.

Notion Games and Ubisoft have settled on a name change for Super Ubi Land. Ubisoft asked Notion to change Super Ubie Land’s name due to the similarity of “Ubi” to “Ubie”.

The change is nothing major – the downloadable title will now be called “Super Ubie Land”.

It’s 12 PM on the East Coast and 9 AM on the West Coast, meaning the Wii U eShop has been updated. Today’s new arrival: Super Metroid. You can download the game for a measly 30 cents. It’s more than worth that price!


There’s one big Toki Tori 2 feature that wasn’t quite ready for launch: the level editor. Fortunately, Two Tribes recently confirmed that the feature is still on the way. While no date has been set for its release, the studio has assured that the functionality is “still heavily in development”.

Three more games are coming to the Japanese Wii U Virtual Console next week. Mega Man X, Glory of Heracles III and Ikki will all be available through the eShop. The first two should cost 800 yen while the latter is set at 500 yen.
