Nintendo’s “Wii Remote Rapid Charging Cradle and Rechargeable Battery” set is now available on the company’s online store.

The battery provides approximately 13 hours of play time. Charging takes about 90 minutes.

You’ll receive a Wii Remote Rapid Charging Cradle, Wii Remote Rechargeable Battery Pack with integrated Battery Cover, Wii Remote Jacket, Wii Remote Wrist Strap, and A/C Adapter with your purchase. Pricing is set at $39.99. Note that a Wii Remote is not included.



Jack Skellington will be made available as a new figure for Disney Infinity starting on October 5. It’ll be an exclusive at the retailer until October 29.

All GameStop stores will be selling Jack Skellington, and more than 100 locations will be showing off Disney Infinity in the form of an on-hand demo. The first 50 consumers to make a purchase will receive a free poster.

When GameStop restocked Xenoblade and Metroid Prime Trilogy, the two were priced at $90 and $85 respectively. Both were later dropped in price to $80 and $70.

A second $10 price drop is now in effect for both titles. As of now, Xenoblade can be purchased for $70 while Metroid Prime Trilogy is set at $60.


Nintendo will soon cease production of the Wii in Japan. While no set date has been announced, it’s expected that the company will be moving on from the console “soon”.

The Wii originally launched in Japan back in December 2006.
