Minecraft reveals Ice Age collaboration DLC

Minecraft has unveiled another crossover, with the game now teaming up with Ice Age movies from 20th Century Studio. Players on Switch can begin playing starting today.
The DLC is comprised of 30 new skins, including Sid, Manny, Diego, Ellie, and many others. There’s also a different-looking Overworld to explore, featuring saber-tooth tigers, prehistoric pigs, vultures, and a dark shadow lurking beneath the ice-blue waters.
The main draw here is that the map offers a recreation of some iconic locations from the movies, including the new Adventures of Buck Wild. Players will come across a skeleton bridge, lava falls, an ice cavern, and a mammoth tree. It’s not just about exploration though, as they’ve been given a collecting mission in the form of acorns. It’s teased that these acorns have a hidden secret, but players will have to find them all to learn more about the mystery.

All Minecraft players on Switch can access the Ice Age DLC now. It’ll be distributed for free until July 31, 2022, so grab it while you can.
