It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart outlining what Japanese gamers are looking forward to based on reader votes. This week, the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Resident Evil Requiem appears for the first time.

September 29: Flynn’s Arcade, in collaboration with McCollum Games, has announced Unto Deepest Depths for Nintendo Switch. News about launch timing has not yet been shared.
Unto Deepest Depths is a turn-based strategy game. There’s a specific gameplay element included in which units must move and attack each turn, so players can’t wait for enemies to come to them.

At least for now, only one session is on the docket. Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch will be impacted as the Switch Online app for these two systems will be down a bit.

August 17: Three more creatures have been revealed for Pokemon Unite, as we now know that Empoleon, Dhelmise, and Vaporeon are all on the way. News dropped during the closing ceremony of the 2025 Pokemon World Championships.
Empoleon will arrive first on September 19, 2025. Dhelmise and Vaporeon don’t have release dates, but are coming later. We’ll let you know once we have a better idea about timing.
