October 23: Idea Factory is bringing Ariana and the Elder Codex to Nintendo Switch in the west with a full English localization, the publisher just announced. A release is scheduled for 2026.
Ariana and the Elder Codex was originally made by Compile Heart and Hyde. In Japan, it came out in August as Magical Librarian Ariana: The Books of the Seven Heroes.
Today, the new Nitrome Classics series was announced, and it’s kicking off with Twin Shot Deluxe. The game launches in early 2026.
Nitrome Classics features older games that have been “lovingly ported from the ground up”. These titles offer higher frame rates, full screen aspect ratios, and with higher quality music, and many of the games “will be packaged as mini collections within a franchise and include additional content not found in the original release.” Silly Sausage and Skywire will be arriving at a later date.

Capcom just announced the release date for Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection. The package is coming to Nintendo Switch on March 27, 2026.
Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection was originally unveiled during a Nintendo Direct earlier this year. Up until now, Capcom was only committing to a general 2025 launch window.

Today, publisher Nejcraft and developer Quite OK Games shared the release date for Laysara: Summit Kingdom. The Nintendo Switch title is planned for February 27, 2026 and there’ll be a physical release.
Laysara: Summit Kingdom, a city builder, was confirmed for Nintendo Switch back in August. However, this is the first word we’ve had on launch timing.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment has revealed details about its next free content update, which is coming this week. Players should be able to download it on December 18, 2025.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is getting another round of content and features. This includes the Phantom Mode, “Taboo” difficulty level, new challenges, new skills, and a new weapon.

YouTuber Bearborg posted a new video this week containing all base camp interactions for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, which includes a ton of cut dialogue. There’s a little over 30 minutes in total as found in the files.
Throughout the game, players encounter troops from the Galactic Federation. Myles MacKenzie, Reger Tobaki, Sergeant Ezra Duke, Private First Class Nora Armstrong, and VUE-995 are a part of the story. As it turns out, these characters were meant to say a lot more, but a bunch of lines were left on the cutting room floor.
September 25: According to Square Enix, the company is planning a demo for Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade.
That news comes directly from director Naoki Hamaguchi. In a recent interview, he confirmed that a demo is planned for release by the end of the year. Hamaguchi didn’t explain what exactly will be included, but said that for “players who might still be on the fence or unsure about playing, it’d be great for them to experience [the demo] and feel the full specs” of the system.
October 24: Another Nintendo Switch 2 Edition has been announced, and this time it’s for the construction and management sim Factorio. We don’t have a release date yet, but the team is currently targeting December.

Given the prominent marketing of Mega Zeraora leading up to the release of Pokemon Legends: Z-A’s Mega Dimension DLC, we think it’s safe to assume that the player would have the opportunity to catch Zeraora at some point. Indeed, that is exactly the case here – and interestingly, this is the very first time players are able to catch a Zeraora with their own OT plus any Poke Ball they want. Up until now, it’s been exclusive to events. In order to catch Zeraora, you’ll need to beat Mega Dimension’s final boss and do something else in the postgame.
