Ratalaika Games and 9Ratones are working together on a Nintendo Switch release of Piggly Pagly Boom, they’ve announced. The title is planned for October 3, 2025.
Piggly Pagly Boom is officially said to be a 2D puzzle action shooter. The premise is that after a science experiment goes wrong, Morgan Pigman must save the world from a laboratory disaster.

Limited Run Games will be releasing Tomba 2: The Evil Swine Return on Nintendo Switch in the future, and details about the physical release were shared today.
There’ll be a standard version, Classic Edition, and Whoopee Edition. With the Classic Edition, you’ll receive the game, retro box, steelbook, soundtrack CD, and double-sided poster. The Whoopee Edition has these same items while adding a deluxe hardcover art book and strategy guide, Charles figure, Tomba with flying squirrel suit figure, and art prints.
Bandai Namco has shared some insight into its out-of-order release schedule for its Tales of remasters.
The company started a specific initiative for these types of games a little while back. For the first effort, we saw Tales of Graces f Remastered, which originally debuted in 2009. Moving on from that, Tales of Xillia Remastered – based on its initial 2011 launch – arrives in about a month. We also technically saw new versions of Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Vesperia before the Tales of Remastered Project began.
February 27: Terminator 2D: No Fate is in development for Nintendo Switch, publisher Reef Entertainment and developer Bitmap Bureau. The game launches on September 5, 2025.
Based on Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Terminator 2D: No Fate is an action side-scroller. You’ll play as Sarah Connor and the T-800 as you look to end Skynet’s plans before the human race is annihilated.

January 2024: Publisher Game Source Entertainment and developer Supernature Studio have announced that Lost in Fantaland will be making an appearance on Switch. The game will come to the platform in June 2024.
Lost in Fantaland is a roguelite deckbuilding RPG with a retro artstyle. Players will adventure across a variety of grid-based maps, using their cards to outplay and take out enemies while collecting wealth and treasures along the way.

Feardemic will publish The Cabin Factory on Nintendo Switch, the company has announced. It’s due out on October 16, 2025.
The Cabin Factory is a short horror anomaly-hunting experience developed by International Cat Studios. It’s all about inspecting cabins and determining if they’re haunted or not.

Following the launch of Nintendo Switch 2, we’re putting together a complete list of Nintendo Switch 2 games with a game-key card release.
This is a new approach to physical media, which has seen a mixed reaction. In a way, it’s a hybrid between a true physical release and a download code. Each box comes with a cartridge, but there’s nothing really included. Rather than coming with all content, you’ll need to download the game first. After that you don’t need to connect online, but you need to insert the card each time you play.

There are a few new games this week, including Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds which debuts at #4 with 30 percent of the game’s sales on Nintendo Switch (55 percent for PS4, 11 percent for Xbox Series, 4 percent for PS4). Another new title is Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac at #14 – the split was 44 percent for Nintendo Switch, 48 percent for PS5, and 8 percent for Xbox Series. Meanwhile, the actual #1 was EA Sports FC 26 – we saw 7 percent of the sales were on Nintendo Switch, 67 percent on PS5, 14 percent on Xbox Series, and 8 percent on PS4.

Flynn’s Arcade, in collaboration with McCollum Games, has announced Unto Deepest Depths for Nintendo Switch. News about launch timing has not yet been shared.
Unto Deepest Depths is a turn-based strategy game. There’s a specific gameplay element included in which units must move and attack each turn, so players can’t wait for enemies to come to them.

October 2024: Today, QUByte Interactive announced a partnership with Spaceboy to publish the upcoming project Hannah. We don’t have a release window yet, but a release on Switch is confirmed.
Hannah is an emotionally driven 3D puzzle platformer that follows the journey of its protagonist as she dives into her past to confront her fears and unravel the mysteries of her childhood. The game is set in a surreal retro world with memories and nightmares in which players can climb ropes, swing, slide, solve puzzles, assemble gadgets and vehicles, and even use enemies to go unnoticed.
