We’ve seen the Nintendo community accomplish amazing things with the Wii hardware and some of its games. The latest fan effort focuses on Super Mario Galaxy 2, which has been a given Mario and Luigi split-screen co-op mod through game patcher Riivolution.
The video above emphasizes that the project is still very much a work in progress. Even with the kinks, though, this is pretty impressive.
While the mod isn’t available to the public yet, it should be up for download sometime in the future.
Namco Bandai has updated the Lost Heroes site with some new images from the game. You can find a few screenshots in the gallery above.
Gearbox Software has some ideas in store for a possible Aliens: Colonial Marines sequel. Senior producer Brian Burleson recently said that the studio is “imagining things” for another game in the series.
According to Burleson:
“We’re imagining things – there’s a distinct possibility. We are making the game in such a way that could support certain possibilities, but nothing is certain so we have to leave lots of ground.
“I think when people finish playing the game, they’ll definitely want more. We’re not just tagging off the end of the game and saying, ‘That’s the end of the Aliens chronology for this sort of thing’. We want to continue it…”
Before fans can even begin to think about a sequel, they’ll have to wait for Aliens: Colonial Marines to actually hit store shelves. This won’t be happening until next year, of course. Surely SEGA will be looking at the reception the game receives both critically and financially.
An official Japanese website for the new Medabots 3DS game has been opened. Fans can take a look at some basic information on Medabots 7: Kabuto/Kuwagata and access some screenshots. More content will be added in leading up to its September 13 launch.
