Finally, all speculation can come to an end regarding the 3DS’ launch date and price. Nintendo just announced at their official conference in Japan that the portable will go on sale on February 26, 2011 for 25000 yen. In North America and Europe, the system will be out sometime in March.
As it turns out, Resident Evil: Revelations isn’t the only 3DS RE game in the works. A short while ago, it was announced that Resident Evil: The Mercenaries is also in development for the system. Capcom has also saved one additional announcement for the 3DS: Mega Man Legends 3. You can check out more details below.

A few days ago, the “Wii Remote Plus”” was discovered through a GameStop listing. Today, Nintendo has made it official. Satoru Iwata did not discuss the product in-depth, though I suppose that isn’t really necessary. After all, it’s truly just a Wii remote with MotionPlus built in.
Earlier this year, Nintendo said that Mistwalker’s The Last Story would be out in Japan. Unfortunately, that no longer appears to be the case. Nintendo’s global president, Satoru Iwata, has confirmed that the game will instead ship on January 27, 2011. No North American release date has been announced.

We’re still about 30 minutes away, but take a look at these photos will you wait!
We were left in the dark about Nintendo’s impending conference for quite some time, but a few details have finally been released. According to Nikkei, the Big N will start the event at 1 AM EDT/10 PM PST. We also know that Capcom will have official news about two game announcements at 2 AM EDT (okay, it hasn’t been confirmed to be Nintendo-related, but what else could it be?!). One other thing – From what I can gather, this is not necessarily a 3DS-only conference, so we may very well hear about some Wii titles.
Just so you know, I’ll be covering the conference in any capacity I can. This includes posting updates on the site as soon as any information becomes available, as well as hosting any screenshots/trailers I come across. I’ll probably regret staying up so late in the morning, but Nintendo conferences don’t happen too often – might as well soak in all the news!
