This was a response from a Nintendo representative when asked when/if the black Wii would be arriving in the United States…

“[There are] no plans to have other colors of Wii in the U.S.”

Wii sales in North America are still in fairly stable condition, so I wouldn’t be expecting any new colors for a few months. But to say that there are no plans to bring colors to the U.S. seems odd…I can’t see the Big N never releasing the black Wii in the states.

Thanks to _Contra_ for the news tip!

So much for the Modern Warfare 2 Wii rumors! In spite of the fact that Call of Duty: World at War has performed rather admirably on Nintendo’s system, Activision has outright confirmed that there are no plans to bring Modern Warfare 2 to the Wii. A representative provided Kotaku with this information, although no reason was given for the company’s decision. I’m sure that this news will leave many Nintendo fans disappointed – myself included. It’s just a shame that the game isn’t in development for the Wii considering how promising some of the previous rumors were.

Chronos Twins fact sheet

Posted 15 years ago by in News, Wii | 0 comments

**Playing with the concept of time travel, Chronos Twins, sees the player in the driving-seat, as Nec – the last best hope for his planet – not only battles to save his world but also to avenge the death of his brother.

To successfully complete levels, players must initially use both screens simultaneously as s/he plays across two temporal dimensions (past and present) in a bid to meet (and defeat) the nameless entity head-on when it first appears on Nec’s homeworld. Manoeuvring through side-scrolling areas, the aim is to control both the present-time hero whilst exploring the planet’s past to conquer the alien threats.
