Nintendo has officially revealed the newest character for the next Hyrule Warriors and Hyrule Warriors Legends DLC. Toon Zelda will be included, along with Link’s Sand Rod. The DLC is out today.

Nintendo is bringing another Wii title to the Wii U eShop today. The game in question is The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, the series’ first game in the timeline. It should be priced at $20.

London, United Kingdom —September 1, 2016— The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo unveiled details about a unique Munchlax that evolves into Pulverizing Snorlax for those who purchase Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon by Wednesday, January 11, 2017. A new regional variant Pokémon, Alolan Rattata, was also unveiled for the video games launching on November 23, 2016, exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS family systems.

Munchlax and Snorlax

The early purchase bonus Munchlax, which must be received via players’ Internet connection by January 11, 2017, is holding a special item called Snorlium Z. By evolving Munchlax into Snorlax and having it hold the Snorlium Z, Snorlax becomes able to use a special Z-Move that cannot be used by any other Pokémon—Pulverizing Pancake.

Update: In Europe, Picross 3D: Round 2 is out in December both physically and digitally. The previous game also comes to the Wii U Virtual Console today in Europe.


Nintendo is finally launching Picross 3D: Round 2 in the west. Additionally, a demo is planned. Picross 3D: Round 2 launches today in the eShop in North America.

Two new Pokemon Sun/Moon 2DS bundles will be released in Europe later this year. In today’s Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that they’ll launch alongside the two games.

Super Mario Maker is heading to 3DS, Nintendo has announced. The game will be released on December 2.

Here’s what we know thus far:

– Can play Wii U courses, although not all aspects will be
– Mystery Mushroom costumes will still be Wii U exclusive
– Courses are shared from 3DS by local download and StreetPass
