Social media update

Nintendo Everything social media

Hey! Did you know that we’re on social media? Let’s talk about for a moment since we have an update on that front.

We know that social media isn’t for everyone. Some people prefer specific platforms while others don’t want to use anything. And that’s okay! If you’re interested in seeing the latest updates from us, the absolute best way is to go straight to the homepage. We’ve been using the same blog style format since the site started in 2007, and you can very easily check out the latest content right at the top.

If you do want to follow us on social media, we’d recommend X (or Twitter… or whatever it becomes). It’s not without issues, but it’s always been the one platform we’ve used more than anything else, and it’s generally been the most reliable. X is also the main social media account we’ve used to share a few extra pieces of content – the occasional giveaway, games that are on sale, smaller updates not suited for the main site, and more. You can follow us here.

Facebook is something else we were using previously. If you’ve been wondering where our page went, all we can say is that we’re just as puzzled as you are. The short explanation is that it was taken down, we’ve been trying to get an answer about this for quite some time, and frankly, we haven’t been given much information. Unfortunately, like other outlets, we’re at the mercy of these platforms that can do what they please. We’re aware of at least one other Nintendo blog that was impacted by Facebook’s random decisions. We’re still in talks with Facebook, but since the situation continues to drag on, we’ve decided it’d be best to start up a new page. We may return to the old one at some point, but for now those looking to keep track of us on Facebook can do so here.

We’re also going to try a couple of other things which we’ve been tinkering with mostly behind the scenes the past week or so. First, you can find us on Threads here. And while it’s still a pretty new platform, we’re going to experiment posting to Bluesky here.

Finally, something else we’d be interested in hearing from you all concerns Discord. We don’t have our own server, and we can’t promise that we’ll start one soon, but we could end up pursuing it if there’s enough interest. If that’s something you’d like to see, let us know.
