Sonic Superstars reveals Digital Deluxe Edition, Rabbit Skin and more

SEGA has announced that Sonic Superstars is set to receive a Digital Deluxe Edition with some special goodies, including a Rabbit Skin.
For those that are unaware, this is going back to the earliest days of the character’s history. SEGA was originally toying around with the idea of using a rabbit – the character was only settled on a hedgehog later on. Naoto Ohshima, who is working on Sonic Superstars, came up with the initial rabbit design. But due to different factors such as wanting to focus on speed, featuring a hedgehog made more sense.
Outside of the Rabbit Skin, you’ll also get the LEGO Fun Pack with LEGO character skins for Amy, Tails and Knuckles and levels for Battle Mode, as well as extra content including Mecha Sonic parts for Battle Mode, exclusive wallpapers, a digital artbook and a mini soundtrack. The full set will cost $69.99.
Additionally, fans can pre-order the physical, standard digital, or Digital Deluxe Edition to receive an exclusive in-game LEGO Eggman character skin. And every player of Sonic Superstars will be able to experience the Blue Blur in brick form with a free LEGO Sonic skin available at launch.
